Best Photo Spots in Disney World

I’ll admit that taking pictures at the best photo spots in Disney World started as a goof. I’ve always been described as the awkward and/or cute girl. Even a geeky girl. I’m absolutely fine with that. I embrace who I am. I know that I will NEVER be the hot, sexy, or stunning girl in photos. Any attempts to do so, results in a hot mess. Totally okay. While researching the best (non-photo pass) photo spots in Disney World, I realized people take their outfits, poses, and picture spots, seriously. They look fantastic. I would not look the same in the same picture. Thus began my idea to have a bit of silliness on this Disney Word trip, and the “hot girl photo challenge” (in which we try to do our best “hot girl” poses), starring our entire crew, was born.

Magic Kingdom

The Purple Wall

If you want to be a true Disney World Parks fanatic, then you must share photos of yourself in front of the walls. There are many, many, walls. They have designated names. You could spend an entire week of your trip just searching out the walls for pictures, but there is one wall to rule them all. The Purple Wall. The first wall. The most popular.

The Purple Wall started the whole wall picture craze.

It is a phenomenon that continues to fascinate me. The Purple Wall is located near the entrance to Tomorrowland.

Orange Bird Wall

One of the cutest Disney Characters, the Little Orange Bird Wall can be found on Sunshine Terrace.

Wishing Well

There are popular photo spots other than walls. In the Magic Kingdom, one of the best photo spots in Disney World is the Wishing Well near Cinderella’s Castle.

There were plenty of people here, waiting to snap a few pics.

Benches

The park is teaming with benches. The bench you get your picture on is up to you.

Animal Kingdom

Moss Wall

Located in the Avatar section of Animal Kingdom. There is no specially designated Moss Wall. Find some moss and get that pic.  Extra points for looking forlorn at the Moss Wall.

Walls of Harambe

There are several photo spots in the Harambe area of Animal Kingdom.

Out of all of the best photo spots in Disney World, the Walls of Harambe are a favorite.

Epcot

Bubblegum Wall

The Bubblegum Wall is located outside of Spaceship Earth.

Mosaic Wall

The Mosaic Wall is located outside of the Land Pavilion.

This wall can be tricky to get a good picture at, as it’s a high traffic area.

Bruce

If you need a nice break for your feet and from the heat, take a spin on The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Don’t exit the pavilion without getting your Bruce picture.

Fountains

The go-to photo spots in Epcot’s World Showcase are the fountains. The fountain in Morocco is the least crowded. The fountain in France is rarely people free.

Hollywood Studios

Galaxy’s Edge

Did you even visit Hollywood Studios if you did’t take a Vader Force Choke photo with your family/friends?

Galaxy’s Edge provides some of the best photo spots in Disney Word. Where you take your photo isn’t super important, but there are spots that are less crowded, so you can get stranger free pics.

We don’t have lightsabers, but lightsaber moves and battle pictures are sought-after.

Toy Story Land

Getting pictures in Toy Story Land is fun, because where else are you going to feel so teeny-tiny?

Trying to get a clear shot can be frustrating, as the land is smaller in size and is jammed with guests.

Muppets Vision

If you must have an obligatory jumping picture (the real deal hot girls take a lot more jumping pictures in the parks than we accomplished) the target near Muppet Vision is the #1 jumping spot.

Note: As learned from our visit to The Brooklyn Bridge, jumping pictures are best taken from the side, and not straight on.

There’s also a wall if you want to be a rebel.

Unlike Toy Story Land, as long as you wait for the people exiting Muppet Vision to disperse, you will be able to take your time getting the perfect shot.

Non-Park

People often don’t think of non-park areas for best photo spots in Disney World.

Disney Springs

Since this was our first full day to ease into our Disney World trip there was only one wall identified at Disney Springs.

Art of Animation

The wall outside of Landscape of Flavors is another popular Disney Wall.

The Disney World Resorts are an underrated wonderland of photo ops. The Art of Animation resort has some choice areas for pictures. Since time is of the essence on Disney World trips, we only had time to stroll around the Cars section.

Don’t underestimate the photo opportunities at the resorts.

There are many spots, particularly Walls, we didn’t get pictures at. If you are planning your day around getting all of the best pics, do some research ahead of time. Even if you only do one or two spots during your trip, taking pictures at the best photo spots in Disney World will provide great memories you can view long after your trip comes to an end.
