You are in the city that contains the most photographed hotel in the world. You have to get the
photograph. In fact, you need a multitude of the photo. Your mission, find places to take photos of The Frontenac Hotel in Quebec City.
Built in the 1800s, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac was constructed by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The goal was to accommodate passengers during a time when trains rarely offered meals or overnight cabins. With its castle-like towers, turrets, and dormers, it was and still is a sight to behold.
Dufferin Terrace
Dufferin Terrace is the most popular of the places to take photos of The Frontenac Hotel. The boardwalk wraps around the Fairmount Le Chateau Frontenac and offers beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River.
This location will provide the best up-close shots.

There are six gazebos along the boardwalk, each with their own names and each offering different views of the hotel.

Be sure to visit the terrace during the day and night.

A stroll along the terrace is one of the best free activities to do in Quebec City.
