I’m sure your first question as I recommend Robert Is Here is, I’m supposed to visit a fruit stand?
The answer is, yes, but Robert Is Here is not your average fruit stand.
Needing a little fuel in the morning, we stop at Robert Is Here. I heard they have smoothies, and I appreciate a good smoothie.
We are dazzled by the shapes and colors. Signs are carefully read, as we examine exotic fruits.
In addition to fruit, there is an endless supply of honey, jams (including Toe Jam),
and snacks.
The staff at Robert Is Here will cut up your produce choice if you want to eat it immediately. Miss Nellie even slices our banana bread so we can munch slices in the car. I suggest requesting that Miss Nellie cut your items as she provides delightful conversation.
You could also ask Robert for assistance because…Robert is Here, or at least he was on the day of our visit.
Wandering out back, there are animals, who appear to be good friends.
The main goal for our visit is to acquire energy for a day filled with trail walks, in the Flamingo/Coe area of Everglades National Park.
Smoothies obtained, we set off for adventure.
Robert Is Here, is a unique, quirky, farm stop, in Homestead, Florida. It’s a good place if you need snacks for your day’s explorations. We enjoyed our smoothies and banana bread, and the best part of the experience, chatting with Miss Nellie.
